The house behind the songs
About Us
Worshiping in Spirit & in Truth
Our Origin
Emerging from the Oasis Young Adult ministry in Agape House of Worship family of churches, God gave us a vision, and it was, “Always glorify Me.” What followed this was a burden to seek the presence of God, have a posture of reverence, and a longing to worship Jesus. This is the foundation on which this ministry was established.
Our Mission
Our mission is to portray Jesus Christ as we influence a generation to worship Him in alignment with Heaven; in Spirit, in Truth, and in reverence of Him.
Inspired by Galatians 3:1, John 4:24, and Revelation 4:8
What We Do
Create Music
We create songs that tell the story of the gospel of Jesus. Our songs are inspired by the written word of God, which gives us accurate language to express the mystery of the gospel.
Guide Into His Presence
One of the hopes we have with the songs we create is that the listener will experience the manifest presence of God. We see these songs as conduits for His presence to become tangible wherever it is played.
Our Beliefs
Holy Scripture
We believe both the Old and the New Testament are the inerrant and authoritative Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.
Salvation
We believe salvation, and the forgiveness of sins, comes by faith in Jesus Christ alone, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
The Holy Trinity
We believe in one God, co-equal and co-existing in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We affirm the Nicene Creed.
Things to Come
The Second Coming: We believe in the return of the Lord Jesus Christ, when He comes to establish His Kingdom forever.
Resurrection from the Dead: We believe not only that Jesus was raised from the dead, but that all who have placed their faith in Him will also rise from the dead on that day.
Our Genre
Our style of music looks to blend the gospel-centered writing of the CCM genre with the musical dynamism of the gospel genre. Above all, we look to be biblical and sensitive to the Person of the Holy Spirit as He inspires us in creation.

Our Vision for the Future
Looking ahead, Altar House looks to extend its reach within the horizon of God's mission, the ends of the earth. Through this ministry, we long to see the message of Jesus proclaimed, lives coming into the experiential knowledge of Him and marked by His presence.
We are committed to creating music that not only sounds good but also carries the transformative power of the Gospel to every listener.
Part of a Greater Family
Altar House is proud to be part of the Agape House of Worship Family of Churches, a network of churches committed to pursuing God's presence and raising up worshipers.
